Chris Lamaison, BSc, chemistry, started in market research for BOC and has 30 years of marketing technology products for Edwards High Vacuum, Hughes Aircraft Company and Graseby Dynamics (now part of Smiths Industries Detection Systems) primarily in Europe, USA, Middle East and Africa. He has experience in identifying new opportunities, securing business through collaborative partnerships and establishing agency networks worldwide. Chris started Cambridge Resolution in 1998 to help technical and medical device companies collect more relevant marketing intelligence – and some new customers at the same time.

Alan Cousens, PhD (Cantab) CEng, MBA and MSc (Economics). Alan has been Managing Director of electronics sub-contract manufacturing, systems for the food processing industry, and several medical device companies. Alan was MD of Graseby Medical, a divisional MD in Smiths Industries Medical and the MD of the medical companies in Oxford Instruments plc. He has business development experience, including start-up and acquisitions technology licensing. Alan is an Associate Lecturer with the Open University Business School, and a Senior Research Fellow at Cranfield University’s School of Management working in an industrial consortium for manufacturing strategies.

Mike Halpin, Liverpool University School of Dental Surgery. Mike started his commercial career in Glaxo. In the UK he spent ten years on marketing roles with Esso Petroleum. An experienced International Business Development Manager with 13 years in OHMEDA, a global leader in anaesthesia and critical care products (part of BOC Group) including nine years in the Middle East. Over the last four years, Mike has developed Europe, the Far East and Asia for two UK healthcare companies, Clement Clarke International and Deltex Medical plc. CCI manufacture respiratory care, anti asthma, anti allergy and COPD treatment products and Deltex manufacture cardiac output and haemodynamic monitoring products.

Andrew Wilkinson, MA (Cantab), MIEE, had engineering roles in Marconi, Chelmsford. He has worked in several sales, marketing and business development positions in a number of hi-tech companies. Technologies covered by these companies are satellite communications, high performance camera, image processing systems and speech technology software. Andrew worked at Microsoft where he was responsible for business development of mobile Internet solutions within the mobile telephony market segment.
